In this release we are introducing AIB life, our new wealth option providing you with pensions, protection and investments offerings.
We are also adding a new Fixed Term Deposit product, you will see both these offerings under Products and Apply and Open.
We have also added a Profile Management option under Profile, where you can now confirm and update your contact details.

Introducing Richer Transactions
Have you ever looked at a transaction and not recognised what it was for? You are not alone... So, we have made improvements on the app to now allow you see more detail behind your debit card transactions, ATM withdrawals and transfers, giving you that peace of mind. All you have to do is tap the transaction to view.
We have also made some changes to support Open Banking you will notice this when making certain payments.

The mobile development team have been hard at work behind the scenes fixing bugs and making technical updates to improve our customer experience on the app.
We have also made improvements for when you report your card lost or stolen, replace damaged card or when you freeze your card on the app. You will now receive a Push Notification with information to tell you what happens next with your card. Helping you through your time of need!

You may notice some differences in the Quick Pay section on the home screen this is to help customers who haven't used the feature before.

First release of the year!
Now you can add eligible accounts to see to your online profile
Changing your address can be a hassle, you can update your address on file in the app without a card reader!
We have also extended the remote account opening offering to include the Basic Bank Account for new eligible customers.
Finally, we have made some security changes, we will ask you to enter your full 5 digit personal access code instead of 3 random digits when using the app.

This update includes improved and simplified journeys in the app, including the cards lost and stolen journey. We have also updated Travel Note so you don't need to tell us about your travel plans anymore.
One less thing to do! Finally, we have built functionality that brings you from the AIB website straight to the relevant screen in the app to make banking easier when you need to freeze, block or replace your card.

We are thinking of our customers during this challenging time.
Mobile banking customers that have been financially impacted by Covid-19 are now able to request a payment break from their Personal loan repayments (loans under 30K).
This is available for eligible loan products for Personal customers.
Tap on the purple banner on the Accounts screen or go to Services for the option.

We are always striving to improve customer experience in the app.
For this update we have made changes to some existing journeys which will help our customers with their daily banking needs.
We have enhanced the Personal Loan Top Up journey for those that want to turn plans into reality. Improvements have also been made to the Lost and stolen journey to help customers in times of need.

Customers with payment accounts can now view their annual Statement of Fees in the app. It's a new document that will show a breakdown of fees and interest over the last 12 months.
We have also been working in the background to improve some of our existing features and fix bugs.

We have been working in the background to upgrade security.
This extra security layer is known as Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), which we refer to as Two Factor Authentication.
For this, you will be asked to complete a one-time set up when you log in and you will also notice changes when you make certain online payments.
This security upgrade will allow us to give you more exciting features in the future.

Saving for something special?
Give your account a name that is meaningful to you.
Choose an icon that represents your savings goal.
If you pick 'Home' icon you can choose to receive helpful emails when saving for a home.
You can also name your Current accounts.Look for 'Pencil' icon.
Calling all students... opening an account with us has never been easier, simply download the app and tap 'Become a customer'.
You will see important updates when logging into the app so keep an eye out.

Unfortunately a selfie outside your house or apartment doesn't count as proof of address. But your bank statements do count, and they're now available in your AIB app.,Have a look in the Services menu to view up to 7 years of statements.,We've also added a new 'share' button beside the IBAN in your account overview, for the next time you need to send your details.,We're continuously working on new features to help you manage your money in your app, so keep your feedback coming!
